Hadrosaurus was a duck-billed, plant-eating dinosaur that lived during the late Cretaceous period, roughly 84 to 71 million years ago. No one knows what color Hadrosaurus, or any dinosaur, was.

Diet: Hadrosaurus was an herbivore (a plant-eater). It had a toothless bill but many cheek teeth.

Anatomy: This ornithischian dinosaur was 23 to 32 feet (7-10 m) long. It had a bulky body, a stiff tail and four legs.

Fossils: Hadrosaurus was named in 1858 by paleontologist Joseph Leidy from a skull-less skeleton and hundreds of teeth that were found in Haddonfield, New Jersey, USA. Hadrosaurus is New Jersey's state fossil.
