Parasaurolophus because the parasaurolophus has a crest that is much larger than any of the other duck billed dinosaurs.
from Bob J, age 16, Here, CO, US; June 29, 2001

Da best is T-rex! Keep rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin'
from Limpz Raptorz, age ?, ?, ?, ?; June 29, 2001

Stegosaurus. He Could Hit T-Rex,Take His Meat, fry It,Feed It To The Meat Eater`s And Fill T-Rex With Stuffing To Give To A Baby As A Stuffed Animal.T-Rex Was Stupid.Stegosaurus Was Smarter And Was More Protective. If A T-Rex Were Attacked By Raptors He Would Let Himself Go To Heaven.T-Rex Was Slow On Its Feet And It Didn`t Hunt At All.It Only Stole Food And Was Captured By Dinosaur Police.Stegosaurus Was Better And Should Be Renamed s.Rex.You T-Rex Fans Are Weak.Stegosaurus RULES RULES RULES RULES RULES And No T-Rex Could take It`s Crown.
from euoplacephulas, age 8, Alta, CA, USA; June 30, 2001

velociraptor because it is a meat eater and i like its teeth and claws
from toby g., age 12, ardrossan, sa, australia; June 28, 2001

from samantha f, age 10, crastwood, ky, north amaritca; June 28, 2001

I like the stegosaurus because I like its humps.
from Arthie, age 7, harrow, London, UK; June 28, 2001

T.Rex coudl woop Spinosaurus' arse easily, stuff it, and hang it as a trophy. The lightly built Spinosaurus is simply no match for T.Rex. As people say, it's like matching a bull mastiff against a great dane, size does not matter here as its the strongest who wins, and the stronger of the two here is T.Rex. I can't see why ANYBODY looks up to Spinosaurus at all, all he had was an extra sail/hump/ridge, that's nothing compaired to T.Rexes' jaws of death. It's a good thing not alot of people like Spinosaurus, and they have a good reason.
from Colin G., age 14, Cameron Highlands, ?, Malaysua; June 28, 2001

Utahraptor, because is was a large meat-eating dromaesaurid, or raptor. Velociraptor might have been big in the movies, but Utahraptor was big in real life!
from Sean F., age 11, Arlington, Texas, U.S.A.; June 27, 2001

t -rex because its a meat eater. i like meat eaters.

from sean t., age 5, louisville, kentucky, jefferson; June 27, 2001

T.Rex, at 55 feet long in the latest finds, there is no competition here by Gigano-whashisname?
from Lillian T., age 14, ?, ?, ?; June 27, 2001

Spineosaurus- Spineosaurus was in many cases, better and stronger than such other carnivores. It was longer and lighter, which means he probably ran faster than the T-rex. I read in a book that the Spineosaurus's vertebre was several inches longer than that of the T-rex. Another very intresting feature to the Spineosaurus is the fin running along its back. I don't see why kids look up to the T-rex as the king of the jungle.

from Geoff, age 10, Chisago City, Minnesota, United States of America; June 19, 2001

daspletosaurus is my favorite dinosaur because it was a very successful predator. its feet were specially adapted for running, according to james gurney's book "the world of dinosaurs"
It had powerful jaws to kill prey with and was the top predator of its time in the cretaceous of the west 70 million years ago. it was related to other tyrannosaurids like T-rex [which it was the possible direct ancestor of] and albertosaurus. all the tyrannosaurids were complex, powerful, and successful predators. My favorite das daspletosaurus in particular because it was a good combination of power and speed, not as huge as T-rex, nor quite as fast as albertosaurus, but it it was in between, meaning it was probably quite adaptable.
